Overview
Refurbished means the cards were stripped, re-padded and re-pasted before reassembly, and each rig ran 48 hours at load with the memory error count recorded. At 1500 W the whole machine fits comfortably on a single-phase circuit, which is the practical constraint that rules out bigger rigs on many sites. 2.63 J/MH is better than the 4090 rig because the 3080 is more efficient per watt on Ethash, even though it is slower per card.
